Maps help us understand the landscape. Not only do they provide a broader view than what we can normally see, they also make the invisible visible.

Landowners: maps can help you look back in time, into the ground, and up into the tree canopy. With our maps you will see your land differently and make better plans and decisions.

Real estate professionals: maps help you tell the story of the land you are selling to better serve your clients. For large properties, photos can only tell part of the story. Let our maps complete the picture.

Map choices include:

Standard

  1. Current aerial image with overlays, including:
    • Parcel boundaries
    • Management units
    • Contour lines (elevation)
    • Hydrology (rivers, creeks, etc)
    • Wetlands (including NYSDEC regulated boundaries)
    • Land surveys
    • Custom annotations (house location, parcel entrance, etc)
    • Custom overlays for additional fee (internal roads, trails, buildings, power lines, etc)
  2. Topographic maps, including historical topos
    • Attractive and popular for printing
  3. Soil map on current aerial image or topo
    • Soil types labeled, searchable online for more information
    • Information sheets for soils for specific uses can be provided for additional fee
  4. High resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM)
    • Ground mapping removes vegetation to show watercourses, roads, old foundations, stone walls, and more
  5. Landcover maps
    • Show vegetation type across the landscape
    • Can be combined with other types of maps and overlays
  6. Broad-scale maps showing the location of a parcel in relation to other landmarks such as cities, highways, conservation areas, trails, etc

All maps will be provided in an image format of your choice, and can be used in mapping apps such as Avenza, onX, and GaiaGPS. We can help you set this up so you can navigate your land with our maps on your phone.

Pricing

Our goal is to provide affordable, useful, and high quality maps. Our base packages start with the standard maps listed above. All packages include a 30-minute expert consultation via phone. (For real estate, this can be for the agent, the seller, or the buyer- your choice).

Base package: Any 2 Standard maps and 1 Pro map for $199. Additional Standard maps for $50 each, Pro for $100 each

Custom package: Any 3 Standard maps, 1 Pro map, plus one customized overlay for $299. Customized overlays include internal roads/trails, management unit boundaries, and other aspects of the parcel that can be remotely digitized.

On-site custom package: We can perform on-site digitization of parcel features for an additional fee, depending on location, parcel size, etc.
